Misión:Promover y propiciar el desarrollo sostenible a traves de la adminitracion de los recursos naturales y renovables comprometiendo en estos proceso a los actores sociales del departamento del Cauca. Visión:al año 2023 la CRC es una institución lider en la gestion y el ejercicio de autoridad ambiental que contribuye con calidad, ala conservación y protección del patrimonio natural y el desarrollo de una cultura ambiental, comprometiendo a los actores sociales y economicos e intitucionales del departamente, que redunde en el bienestar y la calidad de vida de los caucanos.
Strategic perspective:
Cauca ambiental y sostenible ha sido construida alrededor de 7 lineas estratégicas, las cuales están dirigidas al cumplimiento de acciones ambientales tendientes a continuar favoreciendo el ambiente y reducir los efectos generados por el cambio climatico. De esta manera seguimos trabajando con las comunidades en pro del desarrollo integral y sostenible
