The Annual Purchasing Plan main goal is to allow the State Entity likely to increase the conditions of competition through the participation of a greater number of traders involved in the selection processes occurring during the fiscal year, also allowing the State to count with enough information to perform its coordinated purchase.

MISIÓN: La Contraloría Municipal de Barrancabermeja, ejerce el control fiscal, posterior y selectivo a quienes manejen o administren recursos o bienes públicos del municipio; para propender por el buen uso de estos y mejorar así la calidad de vida de la comunidad, fundamentado en los principios de: eficiencia, eficacia, economía, equidad y valoración de los costos ambientales, con talento humano ético, competente y comprometido, buscando el mejoramiento continuo, la excelencia, la gestión por resultados, la agregación de valor a la gestión pública, y el resarcimiento del daño fiscal, contando con el apoyo participativo de la comunidad y socializando los resultados de manera oportuna y efectiva. VISIÓN: Ser reconocida en el 2019 como el ente fiscalizador líder en Santander, en el ejercicio del control fiscal, social y participativo. Vigilando el cumplimiento de los fines esenciales del estado, y en favor de la comunidad.
Strategic perspective:
La entidad cuenta con su única sede en la ciudad de Barrancabermeja (Santander), su planta de personal está conformada por 18 funcionarios y su presupuesto para la vigencia 2021, asciende a la suma de; $ 3.452.226.660
