The Annual Purchasing Plan main goal is to allow the State Entity likely to increase the conditions of competition through the participation of a greater number of traders involved in the selection processes occurring during the fiscal year, also allowing the State to count with enough information to perform its coordinated purchase.

Misión: Formular, liderar y orientar una política eficiente incluyente e innovadora para el deporte, la recreación, la actividad física, la infraestructura recreativa y deportiva, y el aprovechamiento del tiempo libre contribuyendo a la educación, el bienestar y calidad de vida de las personas y ejercer la inspección, vigilancia y control, en el marco del Sistema Nacional del Deporte y la garantía de los derechos de las personas a la práctica de las actividades del sector. Visión: En el año 2032 el Ministerio del Deporte será una plataforma de transformación y educación social a través del desarrollo del deporte, el alto rendimiento, la recreación, la actividad física y el aprovechamiento del tiempo libre

Strategic perspective:

Fortalecer la institucionalidad y la articulación de las entidades que conforman el SND. *Incrementar las actividades de fomento en procura del logro de objetivos relacionados con la recreación, actividad física y aprovechamiento del tiempo libre *Fortalecer los programas de desarrollo deportivo del país con el propósito garantizar los procesos de formación, preparación y competencia de los deportistas de altos logros así como aumentar la reserva y el talento deportivo.
