The Annual Purchasing Plan main goal is to allow the State Entity likely to increase the conditions of competition through the participation of a greater number of traders involved in the selection processes occurring during the fiscal year, also allowing the State to count with enough information to perform its coordinated purchase.

Misión: Contribuir al logro del desarrollo sostenible, mediante el conocimiento y mejoramiento de la oferta ambiental y la administración del uso de los recursos para responder a su demanda, a través de la construcción de una cultura ambiental del territorio. Visión PGAR 2020 - 2031 Escenario de Sostenibilidad Ambiental: En 2031 los 80 municipios del centro de Antioquia forman un territorio sostenible en el que se protege el patrimonio ambiental biodiverso, se desarrollan actividades económicas en armonía con la madre tierra y sus actores regionales son corresponsables en la conservación de la diversidad biológica, étnica y cultural, y el respeto a la dignidad humana, para el buen vivir de las generaciones presentes y futuras

Strategic perspective:

La Corporación, para cumplir con su función de ejecutar políticas, planes y programas nacionales en materia ambiental, como marco orientador de la gestión ambiental, se ciñe a las líneas estratégicas y acciones del Plan de Gestión Ambiental Regional 2020 – 2031. Cuenta con una planta de personal de 461 funcionarios, distribuidos en un nivel central de la Administración y ocho (8) Oficinas Territoriales (Aburrá Norte, Aburrá Sur, Cartama, Citará, Hevéxicos, Panzenú, Tahámies y Zenufaná). La contratación se realiza en el nivel central (Medellín), en la cual participan todas las dependencias corporativas a través de los procedimientos internos que regulan las etapas precontractuales y contractuales. El presupuesto institucional aprobado asciende a la suma de $102.673.834.502.
