The Annual Purchasing Plan main goal is to allow the State Entity likely to increase the conditions of competition through the participation of a greater number of traders involved in the selection processes occurring during the fiscal year, also allowing the State to count with enough information to perform its coordinated purchase.

Misión Formular, adoptar y orientar la política pública en materia laboral que contribuya a mejorar la calidad de vida de los colombianos, para garantizar el derecho al trabajo decente, mediante la identificación e implementación de estrategias de generación y formalización del empleo; respeto a los derechos fundamentales del trabajo y la promoción del diálogo social y el aseguramiento para la vejez. Visión "Para el 2024, ser reconocida como la Entidad rectora de la Política Laboral que lidere e impulse el Trabajo Decente en el país"

Strategic perspective:

El objetivo del Ministerio del Trabajo es generar empleos de calidad -con derecho a la protección social-, construir acuerdos con el propósito de lograr una paz laboral duradera, capacitar y formar el talento humano y convertir el trabajo como eje del desarrollo humano. Por lo anterior el Ministerio se dispone a planificar las necesidades de bienes, obras o servicios que se requieren contratar con cargo a los recursos asignados para la vigencia fiscal tanto de funcionamiento como de inversión, con el fin de cumplir con los objetivos y metas trazadas. Finalmente, el Ministerio del Trabajo, se compromete a ejecutar los recursos asignados, de manera transparente y eficiente, promoviendo la participación de los oferentes.
