The Annual Purchasing Plan main goal is to allow the State Entity likely to increase the conditions of competition through the participation of a greater number of traders involved in the selection processes occurring during the fiscal year, also allowing the State to count with enough information to perform its coordinated purchase.

MISION: Impulsar el desarrollo integral y sostenible del municipio, mejorando la calidad de vida de sus habitantes mediante la gestión eficiente de recursos, la promoción de la participación ciudadana y la provisión de servicios esenciales, buscando consolidarlo como una ciudad intermedia desarrollada, educada y con alta calidad de vida en el Valle de Aburrá. VISION: Consolidar un municipio desarrollado, sostenible y con alta calidad de vida, siendo un nodo líder en el Valle de Aburrá, impulsando la innovación, la cultura ("La Biociudad") y el turismo, garantizando servicios eficientes y participativos para sus habitantes, todo bajo el Plan de Desarrollo "La Estrella por el camino correcto 2024-2027" que prioriza la sostenibilidad y la transformación territorial con enfoque en espacios públicos, cultura y ecoturismo.

Strategic perspective:

La Alcaldía de La Estrella tiene una perspectiva estratégica centrada en consolidar un municipio desarrollado, sostenible y con alta calidad de vida, a través del Plan de Desarrollo Territorial "La Estrella por el Camino Correcto 2024-2027", enfocándose en el progreso social, la eficiencia en gestión, el desarrollo de infraestructura, la inversión en programas educativos y sociales (tercera edad, transporte escolar) y el fomento económico con empleabilidad y emprendimiento, todo bajo un marco de transparencia y participación ciudadana.
